About Us
Founded in 2022, our first fur meet was held on Sunday 23 October at the Biscuit Factory in Reading. Since then we’ve been hosting meets (nearly) monthly, usually on the last Sunday of each month.
We’ve had a few venues since we started, including the Biscuit Factory, Phantom Brewing Co, Playlist Live and now The Face Bar.
Since our first meet, we’ve continued to grow, with us often hosting over 100 attendees, many who travel locally from Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and London to places further afield, including as far as Scotland!
We host parties twice yearly, too. Our parties often have extended hours, feature live DJ sets and also feature a theme too.
We’re also proud to be a part of Reading Pride, which is held each year at the end of August or the first weekend of September.
At Reading Pride, we host a stall, which offers furries a place to relax and chill during the event, to find out more about us and we also have a space in the parade where any member (suit or not) is free to walk with us.
BerkshireFurs is staffed entirely by a team of volunteers and is run as a non-profit organisation. We’re the first fur meet in the UK to be registered as a CIC (Community Interest Company) and any donations or money from party ticket sales is reinvested back into the meets.

From the Forests of Berkshire, Grazeley can usually be found venturing off to explore the world around them, getting involved in any activity that piques their interest – like snowboarding, hiking, and swimming while also having a healthy social life, attending local gatherings, showing pride with every appearance, dressed in what feels best on any given day.
